FAMILY & COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

The Castle Square Tenants Organization (CSTO) Community Engagement Plan takes a strategic approach to the relationships, communication and interactions between our residents and community members. CSTO accomplishes this by including residents in decision-making, goal setting offering collaborative place-based opportunity through Economic Mobility programs and direct services. This creates opportunities to bring families together, increase participation, give support and build cultural bridges.

National Night Out

National Night Out in Boston is an annual gathering that is traditionally held on the first Tuesday of August each year that brings neighbors and law enforcement together, turning streets into lively hubs of connection and camaraderie. Residents come together for block parties, cookouts, and parades, fostering a sense of community while building partnerships with local police. It's a chance for people to share stories, laughter, and a commitment to making their neighborhoods safer and more caring places to call home.
